Welcome to my site—about to undergo a complete revision, but life is about re-vision, isn’t it?

A loving, joyous, and peace-ful season to everyone—we made it through this recent 11th moon—was it a howling one!—and now we’re approaching that magic moment of ethereal winter light…

FYI, my CD will make a wonderful Christmas gift for the folks who like great standards tastefully done… I’m learning it works real well in the office too (various folks report playing it in their offices and work spaces) so think about it for those corporate gifts also—and there’s a discount for more than one.

Here’s how to go to my cdbaby site

Over the holidays, besides private parties, I’ll be up on my home turf in Santa Cruz, and will sing with my favorite guitarist, John Witkowski, and his trio (Patrice Williams on bass, Steve Peters on drums) at Hoffman’s downtown on Friday the 28th. What a great place—Ed Hoffman sponsors jazz seven nights a week (6-9).

So if you’re out & about in Santa Cruz on Friday night the 28th, come eat at Hoffman’s, or come in for a glass of wine or a dessert (!! #%&#)

And finally, for those who weren't able to make it to the Old Town Monrovia Food, Wine, and Jass Festival on September 9th, here's what the it was like:

"Each tune comes out as pure and individual as a finely cut gem.  Ms. Martin proves herself to be "not just a singer," as her intonation, relaxed sense of swing, and clear focus in her delivery make her an up-and-coming vocalist who's already there."
    —Larry Blood, KUSP Radio

"Accomplished jazz. Very sharp and classic sound—beautiful!"
—Leonard Longmire, KFSR Fresno 90.7 FM
